About Me

Your Trainer, Your Journey

Adam Emblen

I'm Adam, a born and raised Londoner now based in Manchester. I've been active my whole life, growing up training in ballet, swimming, horse riding, and competing in athletics. Movement has always been a big part of who I am.

Before becoming a personal trainer I spent around 15 years in retail management. Over 10 of those years were within the opticians industry, which gave me a strong grounding in health, wellbeing, and working closely with people. I also managed a luxury sportswear store and worked within a luxury gym environment.

As an LGBTQ+ friendly trainer, I create a welcoming, judgment-free space for clients of all backgrounds. My coaching style is calm, supportive, and always tailored to the individual. No shouting. No pressure. No judgement.

Sessions take place at Manchester Aquatics Centre. As part of the Better UK network, I may also be able to train clients at other Better UK gyms depending on availability.

Is this suitable for complete beginners?

Absolutely. Many clients start with no gym experience. Sessions focus on learning equipment, understanding exercises, and building confidence step by step.

What is online coaching?

Online coaching includes a training app with tailored workouts, frequent check-ins, video form checks, personalised nutrition guidance, and ongoing support via WhatsApp.

How do I book a session?

Simply get in touch via the contact form, WhatsApp, or email. We'll discuss your goals and schedule your first session.

What if I'm neurodivergent?
